Computer Information Science (CIS)

The curriculum for computer and information sciences (CIS) majors prepares students for technical and managerial positions in public and private organizations. The curriculum emphasizes three aspects pertinent to the student's professional career: the functions to which computers are applied in organizations, the professional skills for the design of computing applications and the decision making techniques for the effective utilization of computing resources.
