Aug 3 The final exam will be Friday, Aug. 7, at 1:30 p.m. in Room E122 CSE. All remote EDGE students MUST take the final on that same day, and must arrange to have their exams sent to us THAT SAME DAY AS WELL. We MUST receive your final exam on Aug. 7, in order to have enouigh time to produce final grades by Monday, Aug 10. Additional time for reporting grades is no longer permitted.
Aug 2: Medium is a superset of Tiny, which includes variable declarations, many operators, and 'for', 'do' and 'case' statements. Its denotational semantics description, written (and thus implemented) in RPAL, appears HERE. We strongly recommend you study this in preparation for the final exam.

May 18: There has been a change in UF/EDGE policy regarding the timing of final exams for EDGE students. Final grades for EDGE students will be due at the Registar ON THE SAME DAY AS FOR ON-CAMPUS students. Additional time to report final grades (typically an extra week in the past) WILL NO LONGER BE AVAILABLE. For this Summer, final grades must be reported by the instructor by noon on Monday, August 10. THEREFORE ALL EDGE STUDENTS MUST TAKE THEIR FINAL EXAM ON FRIDAY AUGUST 7, AND SEND IN THE EXAM, ELECTRONICALLY OR BY FAX, THAT SAME DAY. WE MUST RECEIVE THE EXAMS ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 7. We will make the exams available to proctors on Thursday, August 6.
May 11: Campus students are required to take their course exams in a classroom, on campus, in person. Distance students will take course exams remotely with the services of their EDGE proctor. The midterm will be the last week of June (will set the exact date later). The final will be August 7.
