Web-based simulation represents the marriage of web technologies and simulation science. The web's ability to service large and diverse audiences allows the simulation community to legitimately provide models and simulations as end products. Recent advances in web technology have the web a viable mechanism for performing, publishing, and distributing simulation. It is the goal of this conference, and others like it, to foster information exchange (and, possibly, some order) on what certainly will be a significant part of the future of simulation science.
This conference deals with the wide variety of research issues in web-based simulation being addressed by Government, academia and industry. Suggested topics for presentation include, but are not limited to:
